Registration

Check-in when you arrive!

The registration desk will be available for all guests to check-in for the event, collect their welcome package, and get their personalized event badge. The badge will be required to access and participate on any of the event activities and excursions. All guests who have pre-registered or would like to register at the door will need to check in with the registration staff upon arrival.

Aside from the check-in process, the staff at the registration desk will also be there to assist you with excursions, upgrades, schedules, and other issues related to your event package (pending availability).

IMPORTANT:

Please note that is is very important that you respond to your welcome letter to complete your Event Registration before the August 25th deadline. After this deadline, you may not be able to get a photo event badge, requiring you to show ID to get into all events.

The registration desk will be located outside the hospitality suite. Please check the schedule in advance for available operation times.

Hospitality Suite

Hospitality will be open for the majority of the event. Check your schedule or the back of your badge for specific times and hours. We will serve soda, beer, and a variety of liquor as well as an array of goodies.

This year we are seeking volunteers to serve drinks in the hospitality suite. This is a terrific way to meet guys and make friends. If you would like to volunteer to work as a bartender in hospitality, please email hospitality@chubconvergence.com and let us know when you are interested in volunteering. Sign up ASAP, as shifts for this popular event will go fast!

First Timer's Orientation

Nervous? Don't be! Come break the ice with an event vetran. This meeting is for all who have never attended Convergence. Your guide will explail how the event flows, what the event is about and how to be an active participant and to make the most of Convergence 2010.

Join us Friday from 4pm-5pm or Saturday from 8am to 9am

Vendor Hall

Join us in the vendor hall for an oppurtunity to purchase goods and services as well as obtain community information. We encourage you stroll through and support those that support us. Please see the hours of operation located in your event itinerary and on the back of your badge.

Shop till you drop on Saturday and Sunday from 9am-5pm

Survey

A valuable oppurtunity to give your opinions and feedback regarding Convergence! Past survey data has been used to select the convergence venue for following years and to aid in the selection of entertainment.

Please take a moment to fill out the survey located in your event package and return it to the box located at the registration desk.

ABC Annual Board Meeting

This is the event where the national comittee of the Affiliated Bigmens Club meets and discusses any old and new business as well as holding the annual election of ABC officers. Anyone is welcome to attend, however voting rights are reserved for appointed representatives from paid clubs. Take part in your community by joining us for the annual meeting.

The board meeting is on Saturday from 3:30pm to 5pm

Magic Kingdom Banquet

Sunday night we will have a sit-down feast with plenty of courses to please the palette. Dinner will include a relish tray with crudites, tossed salad with choice of dressing, pasta and fresh rolls, sorbet intermezzo, a "dual entree" featuring an 8oz. steak and a 6oz. chicken, unlimited vegetables and potatoes, with a dessert sampler for each table consisting of a pie, cheesecake and fresh baked cake. Beverages included will be coffee, water, iced tea, and milk.

A cash bar will be available.

VIP Feature

Registered guests with Package C, will have first choice of seating at the dinner and access to the VIP Meet & Greet The Entertainer. VIP seating will start 5 to 10 minutes prior to the dinner and participants get to choose their seating for the evening. Remember to bring your two drink tickets provided in your welcome packet to claim your complimentary drinks.

The banquet is Sunday from 6pm-8pm

Chub/Chaser Contest

After a fabulous dinner, what better way to cap it off than by watching your fellow chubs and chasers strut their stuff! The convergence Chub/Chaser contest has always been one of the highlights of the event for participants. With the nucleus of dinner, entertainment and nearly naked chubs and chasers, we always have wonderful turnout. If there is any event not to be missed, it is this one. Thrill to all the sexy chubs and chasers strutting the floor in ALL their glory, and cheer on your own favorite man...or men!

Strut your stuff on Sunday from 8pm-10pm

Dance Party

Join us after hours to dance late into the night, with radio host DJ Shane Phoenix and The Rickster as they take you on a musical dance journey sure to get your toes tapping and your hips gyrating like Elvis. Lose your inhibitions and get out on the dance floor and revel in this unique event with your fellow chubs and chasers.

Welcome Party

Join us on the second floor of the tower in the Florida Room from 6pm to 8pm on Friday for our official Welcome Party. Light hors d'oeuvres, free soda and water, along with a cash bar will be available. This is your chance to meet attendees from all around the world and kick off Convergence 2010 in sunny Orlando, sure to be a weekend you will never forget!

Breakfast Buffet

Join us for a delightful buffet serving fresh juices, coffee, and an array of beverages. Breakfast selections include an omlette station, a variety of succulent meats and cheeses, seasonal fruit, bread basket, bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes, corned beef hash, breakfast potatoes, and a selection of sweets to start your day.

Don't forget your breakfast ticket (for that day) when you come to the Bamboo Grill.

Early risers gather in the Bamboo Grill on Saturday and Sunday from 7am-12 noon and on Monday from 7am-10am.

Pool Parties

After a hot day in the Florida sun, what better way to cool off than in a pool full of good looking men? Join us for our two scheduled pool parties to enjoy some wet and wild frolic in the semi-private pool setting, which is reserved just for our own group. Cool off for a bit, then find yourself a handsome man to cuddle up to and really warm things up!

Get wet with all the chubs and chasers on Friday from 10pm-1am and again on Sunday from 10pm-1am

V.I.P. Meet & Greet

All "Magic" package members will have the chance to meet their fellow VIP members for an intimate meet and greet. Also on hand will be our entertainers, DJ Shane Phoenix, The Rickster, Cole, from Fabbvision networks, and any of the entertainers who will be performing for your enjoyment after the banquet on Saturday night. Take advantage of this early oppurtunity to meet and socialize and kick off the event in style!
